Community & Contest Rules
Fartissimo.net
Last updated: [DATE — insert on publication]
Fartissimo is a platform for artistic sound video performances — musical and
comedic sound imitation, rhythm, beatboxing, parody, and similar performances where
the sound is the star. These Rules keep Fartissimo creative, safe, and fun for
everyone. They are part of our Terms of Service; breaking them can lead to
content removal, warnings, or a ban.
In one line: Make us laugh and impress us with sound — not with shock,
nudity, toilet humor, or anyone's private parts. Keep it clever, keep it clean.
1. Who Can Participate
- You must be 18 years or older to upload videos, vote, or take part in any
contest.
- Every person appearing in a video must be an adult who has consented to
being filmed and published. No minors may appear as performers.
2. What Fartissimo Is About (Allowed Content)
We love submissions such as:
- Artistic sound imitation — instruments, animals, machines, sirens, everyday
sounds, and more.
- Melody imitation — recognizable tunes, rhythm, musical mimicry.
- Comedy performance — sketches, characters, and acting, delivered tastefully.
- Beat / rhythm — beatboxing and percussive performances.
- AI / edited sound — creative editing, effects, and sound design (in categories
that allow editing).
Costumes, props, microphones, musical instruments, your face/hands/body on a stage or
set, and safe, good-natured humor are all welcome. Humor should never humiliate real
people.
3. Prohibited Content (Zero Tolerance)
To protect the community and keep Fartissimo positioned as an artistic sound
platform — not an adult, toilet, or shock site — the following are strictly
prohibited. Videos containing them will be rejected or removed, and repeat or
serious violations lead to a ban.
Sexual / nudity:
- Nudity, exposed genitals, or underwear as a central focus.
- Camera focus on buttocks, groin, or intimate areas.
- Sexual acts, sexual poses, sexual content, or fetish content.
Toilet / bodily:
- Feces, urine, blood, or other bodily fluids.
- Toilet scenes or scatological/"toilet-humor" content.
Harm to people:
- Any content featuring minors.
- Bullying, harassment, or targeting/humiliating individuals.
- Racism, sexism, hate speech, or discrimination against any group.
- Filming people without their consent; pranks on bystanders/the public.
- Dangerous, harmful, or reckless acts.
Rights & integrity:
- Copyrighted music, sound, or footage used without the necessary rights.
- Other people's videos presented as your own (stolen content).
- Deepfakes of celebrities or others used without permission.
Other prohibited:
- Political campaigning/agitation.
- Advertising of alcohol, drugs, or gambling/betting.
- Links to adult sites.
- Personal data of any person shown on screen (names, addresses, phone numbers,
documents, etc.).
- Anything illegal under applicable law.
If you're unsure whether something fits, err on the side of taste — the vibe is
clever and clean, never crude or explicit.
4. Upload Rules (Technical)
To be eligible, videos must meet these requirements (others may be auto-rejected or
sent to manual review):
- Length: minimum 7 seconds, maximum 60 seconds.
- Format: MP4, MOV, or WebM.
- Max file size: 95 MB.
- Resolution: any resolution from a normal phone camera works.
- Audio: an audio track is required (sound is the whole point).
- Aspect ratio: 9:16 (preferred), 1:1, or 16:9.
When uploading you must confirm that you are 18+, that you hold the rights to the
video, and that you accept these Rules and the Terms.
5. How Moderation Works
- Automated (AI) check — every upload is screened. We check technical
requirements and analyze frames, on-screen text, and any speech to detect
prohibited content, producing a risk score:
- low risk → may be accepted automatically;
- medium risk → sent to manual review by a human moderator;
- high risk → auto-rejected.
- Manual review — a moderator can accept, reject, remove, or ban, based on the
video, extracted frames, transcript, on-screen text, AI labels, and history.
- Reasons — if your video is rejected, you'll see a reason (e.g., too short/long,
no audio, possible prohibited content, possible copyright issue).
We may refuse, hide, restrict, or remove any content at our discretion if we believe
it violates these Rules or the Terms, or is otherwise harmful or off-brand.
6. Reports and Automatic Hiding
Every published video has a Report button. You can report content for reasons such
as: prohibited content, nudity/sexual content, a minor in the video, hate/harassment,
copyright issue, stolen video, personal data, or other.
- If a video receives 3 reports from different users, it is automatically
hidden and sent for manual review.
- Please report in good faith. Abusing the report system (mass/false reporting) is
itself a violation.
7. Appeals
If your video is rejected, you may submit one appeal per video from your dashboard.
Explain why you believe the decision was wrong. A moderator will review it and respond.
Appeals may be approved or rejected; we are not obligated to reinstate content.
8. Contest Rules
- Weekly cycle. Contests run weekly — starting Monday 00:00 and ending Sunday
23:59. Winners are chosen after voting closes.
- Categories. Videos compete within categories such as Melody Imitation, Sound
Imitation, Comedy Performance, Beat/Rhythm, and AI/Edited Sound.
- Only published videos compete and can be voted on.
Voting
- One vote per user, per video.
- You cannot vote for your own video.
- Only registered, logged-in users may vote.
- No manipulation. Do not use bots, fake or multiple accounts, vote-buying,
vote-exchange schemes, or any other trick to inflate votes. We use anti-fraud
measures (rate limits, CAPTCHA/Turnstile, hashed IP and user-agent signals, and
suspicious-activity scoring) and may disqualify votes, videos, or users we
reasonably believe are cheating.
Prizes
- The current version of Fartissimo offers recognition (e.g., being featured as a
winner). There are no cash prizes and no paid voting at this stage.
9. Copyright and Infringement Complaints
You may only upload sound, music, and footage that you created or have the rights to
use. Using someone else's copyrighted material without permission is prohibited.
If you believe your copyright is being infringed, send a complaint to
[email protected] including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you own.
- The URL or location of the allegedly infringing video on Fartissimo.
- Your contact details.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the
rights-holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of
perjury (where applicable), that you are the rights-holder or authorized to act on
their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will review valid complaints, may remove the content, and may terminate the
accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed and you believe this
was a mistake, you may contact us to dispute it.
10. Consequences of Violations
Depending on severity and history, violations may result in:
- Content actions: rejection, hiding, or removal of a video; disqualification
from a contest.
- Warnings: a notice for minor or first-time issues.
- Account actions: temporary suspension or a permanent ban, especially for
serious violations (e.g., minors, sexual content, hate speech, repeated
infringement, or vote manipulation).
Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities where required by law.
11. Changes to These Rules
We may update these Rules to keep the community safe and the platform on-brand. We'll
update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, provide notice where
appropriate. Continued use of Fartissimo after changes means you accept the updated
Rules.
